HEALTHGUARD® – CONTRIBUTING TO A GREENER HEALTHIER PLANET AND FUTURE

HealthGuard® is proud to announce that we have installed a 40 kilowatt solar system at our Australian head office in Melbourne. This is part of our company’s ongoing commitment to making our planet a healthier one.

It is our vision that we will eventually become a carbon neutral manufacturer of biotech innovations. Our system is made up of 144 x 270W panels positioned on the roof of our Melbourne facility.

We estimate that the system will generate around 50 MWh per year. Whilst this constitutes a monetary saving to us in electricity usage, more importantly, it represents a saving of 130 tonnes of CO2 that will not be released into the environment.

Whilst we acknowledge that the system may be considered small compared to some, it is a start…. To quote the Chinese Philosopher Loa Tzu “The journey of a thousand miles must begin with one step.”
