We are stepping up our drum recycling initiative and we are so pleased to see our local customers supporting it!
We have always been a fan of using re-conditioned drums, because it reduces:
- Plastic manufacturing;
- Energy consumption;
- Plastic wrap, and;
- Product packaging costs.
Rest assured, we use EPA approved drum recyclers, who take utmost care to deliver what is practically a new drum.
We further inspect every single drum with a camera prior to filling.
We wondered… How can we improve this one step further to reduce waste water from drum reconditioning?
We took a bit of inspiration from the milk man, who use to come around with freshly filled glass pints and return the old used ones for recycling!
For local customers we are so pleased to offer an exchange service of drums and bulk containers, for refill!
The major win? REDUCED WASTE WATER!
A friendly reminder note is placed on the top of each drum, to assist in the process.

For our interstate and international clients, we wish it were practical to return your containers for refill!
Here’s a tip to help reduce plastic waste. Opt for larger packaging e.g. 200kg drum, or 1,000kg bulk containers, instead of 25kg packaging, if it’s practical to do so!
Unless otherwise specified, we are pleased to advise that in large packaging sizes, you are already using reconditioned drums and bulk containers.
